We’re thrilled to celebrate Daniel, one of our recent delegates, who has successfully completed his Part Two Tube and Fitting course at SIMIAN LASC.

The CISRS Part Two course is rigorous, and designed to ensure delegates gain the technical expertise needed to handle more complex scaffolding structures. From complex erection techniques to practical applications, it’s the backbone of building confidence in the field.

However, the Part Two course at SIMIAN is not just about technical skills. One of the key areas Daniel excelled in was developing his softer skills, particularly teamwork. The construction industry is driven by collaboration, and during his training, Daniel had the chance to work with individuals from all walks of life. Each person brought their approach, work style, and unique perspective to the table, which provided an excellent opportunity for Daniel to grow his interpersonal skills.

Working with a variety of peers who have different experiences and methods can be challenging, but it’s a challenge that Daniel embraced with professionalism and enthusiasm. He learned the importance of clear communication, adaptability, and respect for others’ viewpoints—skills that are valuable for working onsite with his employer Deep Scaffolding.

On completion of his course, Daniel said:

“The Part Two course was very simple and effective and allowed me to gain the relevant knowledge and experience needed to process my career. I can carry out additional tasks as a result of the training received by the instructors at LASC. And it being in the local area to be is a massive added bonus!”
