Why did you choose SIMIAN LASC for your CPD Training?

My employer, Mattison Scaffolding booked me onto my CPD at SIMIAN LASC as this is their primary training provider plus the training centre is local to me with me being a Waltham Forest resident. The commute to my training was only 15 minutes via bus, with a bus stop right outside the training centre so very accessible.

How long have you been scaffolding?

After I moved to London from Romania in 2013, I started my scaffolding training with my old employer Brogan Group and have now been a Scaffolder for 9 years, with plans to advance my career and continue for many more years with my current employer Mattison Scaffolding!

What is the best part about being a Scaffolder?

I love working at heights on the scaffolds – you get to see good views of the city.

What does it mean to you to be a scaffolder?

It is a well paid career, the higher you progress the more money you earn which is certainly a good incentive to do all your training and continue in this industry.

What are your plans for the future?

In the future I would like to do my advanced course at SIMIAN LASC and then travel to Australia and continue my scaffolding career down under!

Yes definitely, the instructors are very knowledgeable and the opportunities and facilities here are great, especially with it bring right on my doorstep.
