Nik has recently completed his Scaffolding Apprenticeship qualification at our London Academy for Sustainable Construction (LASC) in Waltham Forest.

A resident of Waltham Forest, 18-year-old Nik came to SIMIAN straight from leaving school, in search of an apprenticeship in scaffolding, with future ambitions to achieve his Scaffolding Part One and Two training and gain a CISRS card.

One of the biggest skills that Nik gained during his apprenticeship was ultimately his confidence, understanding how to safely approach a situation, forward plan, as well as work and communicate effectively with a wider scaffolding team, all crucial elements for a scaffolding professional.

Now with a scaffolding role secured, Nik is putting his new-found skills to the test on site. Having been guided by the SIMIAN team on how to further his skills and career, he is also busy planning his next steps.

Speaking of his training and time with SIMIAN, Nik has said:

“SIMIAN helped me understand practical processes and knowledge to gain confidence at working at height. The training has been great and very enjoyable.”

A huge congratulations to Nik and we wish him every luck in his future scaffolding career!
