Since taking COTS and P1 at SIMIAN over the last 21 months, Rianne is now looking forward to gaining her P2 and then going onto advanced when she is fully qualified.
Speaking about her journey, here’s what Rianne had to say:
SIMIAN have helped massively, as at some stages I may have given up. This career path and life in general is challenging and I have had great support and they really believe in me. I have come along way with still a long way to go. I am most grateful to SIMIAN for backing me all the way.
I am currently working for Mattisons and being exposed to Layer systems as well as Tube & Fit scaffolding so learning a lot on the way. This is a positive thing for my future opportunities. Gaining lots of spanner time and I have great support from senior scaffolders at Mattisons and am excited to gain the next qualifications.
It is great making my way around various different sites picking up new skills and meeting new people.
We are delighted that Rianne will be joining us at LASC for our Construction JOBSFEST on 19th September providing insight into her construction career journey as a women and hopefully providing other the encouragement they need to follow in her footsteps.
Bring on the next 18 months for Rianne – we look forward to continuing to track her journey with SIMIAN.
